Your Child's Neck posture (cell phones) and How it's Effecting their Health

What if I told you there was a simple test that you can do to your child right now that could uncover a disease process or a health problem (that is currently undectable) that could save them years of suffering and health problems and potentially even save their life?

EVERY PARENT SHOULD ADDRESS THIS WITH YOUR CHILD IMMEDIATELY!!

If you want to prevent them from having future health problems and save thousands of dollars in unwanted medical bills please explain how important this is to your child.

The X-ray in the upper left of this picture is of a 16 year old who has NO NECK PAIN even though he already has the beginning stages of spinal arthritis. The problem with that is it is completely abnormal and creates major neurological dysfunction. He is a great kid, good student, great athlete, but also has a diagnosed neurological condition he takes medication for.

No medical doctor or neurologist ever took an x-ray of him. In doctor’s offices and emergency rooms in our country his x-ray would actually be considered “normal”. No fractures, no pathology = Normal

THE BIG PROBLEM WITH THAT IS IT IS ABOUT AS FAR FROM NORMAL AS YOU CAN GET!!

Happy to tell you that him and his family have began an all-out “posture correction blitz” as I write this. The blitz includes corrective chiropractic care, yoga based mobility, isometric exercise, and major lifestyle modification with respect to computers and electronics.

If you lose your normal cervical curve like the x-ray on the right this what happens;

  1. Your spine ages faster
  2. Your spine is more prone to disc herniation and disc bulging
  3. Increase in frequency and severity and headaches
  4. Muscle spasms
  5. Its effects breathing including asthma. Neurological innervation (sympathetic) to the diaphragm comes from the 3rd, 4th, and 5th nerve root exiting the neck.
  6. Digestion is affected in almost 100% of the cases of lost cervical curve and “forward head posture”

Most spinal distortions and postural changes can be changed if caught early in life. The reality is we have truly become a “head down” society. That’s not going to change. Please educate your children about proper posture.

The only way to know if your child or you have lost your normal neck curve is with an x-ray.

The bones in your spine are like your teeth with respect to decay. You can’t feel any pain in your teeth or your spine until it effects the nerve. Tooth decay like arthritis is PAINLESS! Please correct your child’s posture on a daily basis and explain this article to them.

SOME GREAT POSTURE TIPS

  1. If your child has a phone or uses yours a lot have them hold the phone vertical as opposed to horizontal (flat).
  2. Teach your child to stick their chest and buttocks out at the same time while sitting and standing
  3. Simply make sure your children keep their chins level or slightly elevated
